Golden Triangle Tour (Delhi-Agra-Jaipur) with Varanasi is one of the best ways to marvel at Indian traditions and culture. One of the oldest living cities of the world, Varanasi, holds a special place in Hindu hearts. Sacred Ganges meanders through the city with countless ghats housing temples and crematoriums. In sharp contrast to ethereal ambiance of the north is happening beaches of Goa, where nightlife and watersports rock!


Day 1 Arrival at New Delhi in evening

On your arrival to Delhi airport ,our representative will welcome you.
Thereafter relax at hotel.


Day 2 Delhi

Today after breakfast, you will proceed for a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi.

India Gate, Jama Masjid, which is the largest mosque in India, built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Enjoy a walk in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi. Drive past Red Fort, Rashtrapati Bhavan , India Gate. Visit Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi that marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562. It was the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent where the Persian architect used red sandstone on a large scale.

Day 3 Delhi-Varanasi (by flight)

After breakfast you are at leisure; later at noon you will check out of the hotel and proceed to airport to board flight to Varanasi as follows:

Upon arrival you will check in at a hotel and relax. Later in evening enjoy Ganga Aarti near river banks of holy Ganges. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 4 Varanasi-Agra (by night train)

Early morning you will enjoy boat ride on river Ganges; thereafter back to hotel for breakfast; enjoy breakfast and then proceed for city visit. Visit temples, excursion to Sarnath; also visit Benaras Hindu University.

Later in evening board on train to Agra.

Overnight in train.


Day 5 Arrive Agra in morning

Upon your arrival in morning you will be given assistance in transfer to hotel (please note- hotel check-in/out time is 1200 hours; early check-in is subject to availability; therefore you may require to wait at lobby till your room is ready. In that case we may recommend you to enjoy breakfast at hotel and then proceed for a half day city tour; later at noon you will be back and relax at hotel).

History says, Agra was founded by Sultan Sikander Lodi in 1504. But it flourished much later under Mughal patronage. If it's Agra, Taj Mahal (closed every Friday) has to be your halt. The white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal on the banks of Yamuna, is the ultimate epitome of love. Owing to beautiful Mughal architecture, Taj features among the Seven Wonders of The World.

Day 6 Agra-Jaipur (235kms; 5hrs drive approx.)

After breakfast you will check out hotel and proceed to Jaipur; en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by the Emperor Akbar and is home to many historical buildings. Akbar wanted to make Fatehpur Sikri his headquarters; however, he had to abandon it due to shortage of water. It is the best example of the amalgamation of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti enshrines the burial place of the Sufi saint who lived a religious life here. Today, Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World heritage site.

Upon arrival check in at a hotel and relax. Overnight in Jaipur.

 

Taj Mahal Tour

Day 7 Jaipur
After breakfast you will proceed for half day city tour of Jaipur also known as the ‘Pink City’… it is famous for its colorful culture, forts, palaces, and lakes. The old city of Jaipur is painted pink, which gives it a magical glow. Visit the Amber Fort… a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The best way to explore the fort is to ride up to it on elephant back. Later, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” This beautiful façade with its ornately carved latticework windows is made of pink sandstone. Post lunch, visit the City Palace… again, a synthesis of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, comprising geometric devices for measuring time. You will also visit the Albert Hall, which was modeled on the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture.

In evening enjoy dinner at Choki Dhani village. Overnight in Jaipur.


Day 8 Jaipur-Goa (by flight)

After breakfast fly to Goa via Mumbai .

Upon arrival you will be escorted to a to hotel; check in and relax. (no vehicle hereafter). Overnight in Goa
