There are plenty of thrill involved in river rafting in Trishuli. Travelers can choose to get close and personal with the mighty peaks through helicopter ride. Kathmandu's heritage points, Sarangkot's sunrise/sunsets, Pokhra's green haven with caves, gorges, gurgling streams make this package a much applauded one.


Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu

On arrival at Kathmandu airport, you'll be welcomed and escorted by our representative to the hotel.

Sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath & Boudhanath Stupa

Pashupatinath Temple: The most important Hindu Shrine in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva, on the banks of Bagmati River. The temple is shaped like a pagoda with a gold-plated roof, four silver doors, and wood carvings. Raised platforms on the banks of Bagmati are cremation sites for Hindus.

Only Hindus are allowed inside the Pashupatinath courtyard.

Boudhanath Stupa (or Bodnath Stupa): One of the largest stupas in the world, most important Buddhist shrine in Nepal. It is a World Heritage Site.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu-Pokhara (210 Km, 6-7 hrs drive)

One of the must-see landmarks of Nepal is of course the highest peak in the world – Mount Everest, which is 8848m above sea level. There are eight other peaks in Nepal which stands above 8000meter — Lhotse (8516 m), Nuptse (7855 m), Amadablam (6812 m), Chamlang (7319 m), Makalu (8463 m), Gauri Shankar (7134 m), Langtang Lirung (7234 m), Annapurna (8,091 m), Manasalu (8,136 m), Ganesh (7,429 m), Kanchenjunga (8,586).

One hour Everest Flight takes off from Kathmandu Airport and flies east in modern Jetstream 41 fully pressurized and air-conditioned fleet, where one can see magnificent mountains from a height of around 25,000 feet. An hour of scenic splendor of the Mighty Mountains. It is a sparkling clear journey across the world’s highest peaks, Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga – 3rd highest, Lhoste, Makalu, Cho Oyu, to name just a few including the Tibetan plateau.
You'll fly over clouds, glaciers and lakes, rivers and gorges.

Post breakfast, you'll be driven to Pokhara.
Pokhara valley to the west of Kathmandu, is the second biggest city of Nepal. An . unplugged view of lofty peaks from Pokhara, make it a tourist's favorite. This valley is the most famous trekking starting gateway for world famous trekking areas such as to Fishtail, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri area.


Optional:

En-route rafting on Trishuli River (Charaundi to Kurintar-17 Km, 3 to 3 ½ hrs, River grade 2-3 class)
You can opt for white water rafting on the Trishuli River under expert guidance. Exploring the diverse landscapes, valleys, gorges, flora and fauna, is an experience of a lifetime.

After reaching Pokhara, you'll be taken to a hotel.

Day 03: In Pokhara

Early morning excursion to Sarangkot for Sunrise over Himalayas

Sarangkot offers you panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountain Range.. Situated close to Pokhara town, it is a semi developed village located on a hilltop.. It is a two hour walk up the staircase, or you can avail a car to reach the viewpoint.
Drive back to Pokhara, Breakfast at the hotel.

Optional:
Drive to Paragliding start point (Sarangkot). Take 20-25 min flight.
Half day sightseeing of Pokhara city (including Bindhyabasini Temple, Tal Barai Temple, Seti River Gorge, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Tibetan Village).

Day 04: Drive back to Kathmandu

Post breakfast at the hotel, you'll be driven back to Kathmandu.

PM: Sightseeing of Patan City
Patan Durbar Square — Also known as Lalitpur or the city of fine arts. Patan Durbar Square is a concentrated mass of temples, a classic example of Newari architecture to be seen in Nepal. Listed in World Heritage Site, the former Royal Palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects.

Day 05 : Departure

Post breakfast you will be on your own. Go for shopping if need be or relax at the hotel.
Next, you'll be driven back to the international airport for a flight to onward destination.
