Tourists can visit famous Hindu temple, Pashupatinath in Kathmandu, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple homes an open-air crematorium beside river Bagmati, wherein cremations are conducted and believed to be auspicious. Royal courts, Nepal's center of arts, scenic caves, stupas, sacrificial shrines, gorges are covered in the package. There are temples like revered Manokamana Devi, Bindhyabasini, Gupteswar Cave, Lord Buddha's birthplace Lumbini attract lot of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims.


Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

As you arrive at Kathmandu airport, you will be welcomed by our GeTS Holidays representative and escorted to the hotel.

Day 02: In Kathmandu

Early morning — An Hour of Everest Mountain Flight. An exclusive date with Himalayan peaks!
After breakfast at your hotel, proceed for the full day sightseeing of Kathmandu City, Swoyambhunath Stupa and Patan City.

Swoyambhunath:
After visit, continue to Swoyambhunath stupa located at hilltop overlooking Kathmandu valley. Swoyambhunath stupa is also known as “Monkey temple” and is popular for view of Himalayas and entire valley floor.

The history of Kathmandu Valley is said to have started with the beginning of Swoyambhu. The largest image of the Sakyamuni Buddha in Nepal is in a monastery next to the stupa. Behind the hilltop is a temple dedicated to Manjusri of Saraswati - the goddess of learning. Statues and shrines of Buddhist and Hindu deities dot the stupa complex.


Patan Durbar Square —Also known as Lalitpur or the city of fine arts. Patan Durbar Square is a concentrated mass of temples, a classic example of Newari architecture to be seen in Nepal. Listed in World Heritage Site, the former Royal Palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu-Nagarkot (32 Km, 1.5 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast at your hotel, proceed for the full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Bhaktapur City.
Pashupatinath Temple: The most important Hindu Shrine in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva, on the banks of Bagmati River. The temple is shaped like a pagoda with a gold-plated roof, four silver doors, and wood carvings. Raised platforms on the banks of Bagmati are cremation sites for Hindus. Only Hindus are allowed inside the Pashupatinath courtyard.

Next, Boudhanath Stupa (or Bodnath Stupa): One of the largest stupas in the world, most important and largest Buddhist shrine in Nepal. It is a World Heritage Site.
This Stupa, set in a pattern of a "Mandala" is encircled by houses and monasteries where Buddhist monks reside. Around the base is a ring of 108 images of the Buddha and 147 insets containing prayer wheels.

Bhaktapur City (or City of Devotees): Bhaktapur City (or City of Devotees): Located about 20 km east of Kathmandu, it is referred to as City of Devotees, or the 'City of Culture'. The city is full of heritage buildings, monuments, palaces, pagodas and temples. Lying along the ancient trade route between India and Tibet, Bhaktapur is surrounded by mountains and provides a magnificent view of the Himalayas.


Later continue drive to Nagarkot.
Nagarkot, located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya when the weather is clear. Visitors often travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu to spend the night so that they can be there for the breathtaking sunrise. Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati River Valley.

Day 04: Drive Nagarkot-Kurintar (105 Km, 2 hrs drive)

Day 05: Drive Kurintar-Pokhara (99 Km, 3-4 hrs drive)

After breakfast at your hotel, proceed to Pokhara. En-route visit Manokamana Devi Temple by Cable car.
Pokhara valley to the west of Kathmandu, is the second biggest city of Nepal. An unplugged view of lofty peaks from Pokhara, with snow fed lakes, make it a tourist's favorite. Pokhara’s bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. With the magnificent Annapurna range forming the backdrop and the serenity of three major lakes – Phewa, Rupa and Begnas. Pokhara his valley is the most famous trekking starting gateway for world famous trekking areas such as to Fishtail, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri area.

Manakamana temple dedicated to Durga Bhawani, is a holy shrine. Hindus believe that Goddess Manakaman fulfills the wishes of ones who worship her with pure heart.
Visit Manokamana Devi Temple by Cable car.

Day 06: Fly Pokhara-Jomsom (20 min flight). Excursion to Muktinath Temple

Early morning after breakfast at your hotel, transfer to airport for flight to Jomsom. Upon arrival in Jomsom check into the hotel.
Later jeep excursion to Muktinath Temple. After the pooja drive back to Jomsom

Day 07: Fly Jomsom-Pokhara

After breakfast at your hotel, fly back to Pokhara, early morning.
Upon arrival, meet, assist and transfer to the hotel.
Later proceed for the half day sightseeing of Pokhara City (including Bindhyabasini Temple, Davis Fall, Gupteshwor cave, Seti river gorge, Tibetan Village)
Evening boating on Phewa Lake.

Day 08: In Pokhara

Sarangkot offers you panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountain Range.. Situated close to Pokhara town, it is a semi developed village located on a hilltop.. It is a two hour walk up the staircase, or you can avail a car to reach the viewpoint. The landscape endowed with Nature's bounty will be etched in the mind forever.
Drive back to Pokhara, after breakfast at your hotel, cross the lake by boat and hike to Peace Stupa
Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the surroundings.

Day 09: Drive Pokhara-Tansen (126 Km, 4-5 hrs drive)

Morning after breakfast at your hotel, drive to Palpa Tansen
Upon arrival in Palpa, check into the hotel.

Day 10: Drive to Lumbini (76 Km, 3-4 hrs drive)

Morning after breakfast at your hotel, drive to Lumbini
Upon arrival in Lumbini, check into the hotel.
Later proceed for the sightseeing of Lumbini Garden (including Mayadevi Temple, Holy pond, Ashokan pillar and differest monasteries). These are Buddhist pilgrimage hot-spots.

Day 11: Drive Lumbini-Chitwan (158 Km, 5-6 hrs drive)

Morning after breakfast at your hotel, drive to Chitwan
Upon arrival in Chitwan, check into the hotel.

Day 12: In Chitwan

After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Chitwan
The Chitwan National park is one of the finest national parks in Asia, and a World Heritage site since 1984. The park shelters some endangered species such as The Royal Bengal Tiger, One horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Gaurs, as well as Sloth Bear.
Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will be escorted to a resort.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu (185 Km, 5-6 hrs drive)

Morning after breakfast at your hotel, drive back to Kathmandu.
Rest of the day at leisure to walk around Thamel and Ashon Chok.

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy the leisure. You will be dropped at international airport to connect flight to onward destination.
