Gujarat is the land of Father Of The Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. There are plenty of museums and heritage places which bear artifacts from Gandhiji’s life and pivotal role in freedom struggle. Sabarmati Ashram near Ahmedabad is an important spot in Indian history. The famous Dandi March originated from this Ashram in 1930.

Secular aroma of India fills Gujarat. Junagadh, an important town is full of Muslim heritage buildings accentuated with lavish architecture. Orchard Palace in Gondal apart from exhibiting royal artifacts, also has a good number of vintage cars on display.

Gir National Park shelters around 300 Asiatic Lions. Leopard population is also on a rise here. Other fauna housed on the forest premises are jungle cat, chinkara, sambar, four-horned antelope, porcupine, wild boar. Avian guests include greenish warbler, flycatcher, vulture, spotted eagle, hawk, white-browed fantail, endangered saras crane and lesser florican.
